“I grabbed drinks with a friend named Chelsea yesterday. She was talking about an experience she had where her counselor was talking about finding solace in a higher power. Chelsea told me that her counselor asked her to share her thoughts on a deity. Chelsea unfolded her background in religion which was entirely fear based. I told her I felt her story was more normal than she thought. I threw out Brennan Manning’s question “Do you believe God likes you?” and pulled a few verses out about this reckless God who does much to show us….I contrasted that with fear based christianity. She responded by saying we need to have more conversations of this God who likes me. At the end she was texting friends inviting them to this discussion. – Disciple-Maker, Dallas-Fort Worth
Helping people who reject organized religion fall in love with Jesus
Do It Ourselves
We hang out with people who don't know Jesus, find those who are asking spiritual questions, and disciple them - and hopefully their friends and family - into relationships with Jesus through a Discovery Group.
Help Others Do It
We work with individuals, churches, and organizations to launch Disciple Making Teams throughout the United States and Canada. These teams pray, think of creative ways to meet people who don't know Jesus, and help spiritually seeking people connect with God using Contagious Disciple Making principles.
Support People Doing It
As we learn, we develop materials to support individuals, churches, and organizations across the United States and Canada as they seek to reach unreached and under-reached peoples using Contagious Disciple Making principles.
